Frame grabbers
VisionLink frame grabbers support up to 85MHz camera clock speeds on PCIe Gen2 and 3, and their compact profile means they can be ordered with full- or half-height backplanes to fit in standard or low-profile systems. The VisionLink F1 is a low-cost, 1-lane PCI Express framegrabber which supports all base mode Camera Link cameras from 20-85 MHz. The 4-lane VisionLink F4 supports base, medium, and full mode cameras with bandwidth to spare, using onboard memory and DMA speeds exceeding the maximum Camera Link bandwidth of 850MB/sec. Both frame grabbers are compatible with EDT and third-party Camera Link devices.

Extenders
VisionLink extenders work in pairs to connect long range fiber-optic extension cabling to Camera Link devices. A pair of VisionLink RCX extenders (for base mode) or VisionLink XF extenders (for base through 80-bit mode) supports the full Camera Link pixel clock range of 20-85MHz, incorporates high-speed fiber transceivers in the versatile SFP (pluggable) form factor, and uses a simplified method for setting clock speed ranges. Both extenders build on the proven performance of EDT’s original RCX C-Link and are compatible with EDT and third-party Camera Link devices.
