Synchronous serial interface for PCI
The PCI GP-SSE is a legacy product, with limited availablity to existing customers only. Please see the SSE Mezzanine which has superseded this product.

The PCI GP-SSE board samples the data on the rising edge of the clock and stores it in host memory by the PCI GP-SSE DMA. It provides a simple, flexible low cost solution for telecom, datacom, and monitoring applications.
Two 9-pin D-connectors are provided, one for each channel. Each channel accepts a differential data signal (two wires) and a differential clock (two more wires) at standard ECL signal levels. All incoming signals are terminated through 50 ohms to -2 volts.

Device drivers for Windowstm and Linux are included with the PCI GP-SSE, contact us about other operating systems.The driver provides access to the PCI GP-SSE through standard and asynchronous read and write system calls. A DMA ring buffer management library is provided for high speed continuous transfers.
